St. Jude House is pleased to invite you to be a part of our Annual "Circle of Fifty" Initiative!
Domestic violence is the most common violent crime in the nation, but it is the most under reported type of criminal activity. It is the leading cause of injury to women in the United States between the ages of 15 and 44, and is recognized as a major women’s health issue. It leads in causes of injury to women – more than muggings, rapes and auto accidents combined. More than 4,000 women annually are murdered as a result of domestic violence and more than 3 million women a year become victims of violent crimes involving intimate partners. Your "Circle of Fifty" contribution assists St. Jude House in addressing the needs of victims and their dependent children who come to us seeking peace and safety in their lives. Our goal to empower victims to break the cycle of violence for themselves, as well as for their children, is only realized through your assistance.
You can demonstrate your strong commitment and support of the vital services and programs provided for victims of violence and their dependent children at St. Jude House by having your personal or business name listed in one of the categories on our annual letterhead. For one year, (July 1st through June 30th), your name can appear on the St. Jude House "Circle of Fifty" letterhead that is used for all outgoing correspondence from St. Jude House. The use of your name on the final professionally printed stationery is a public way to state the serious commitment that you and/or your company have made to an agency that greatly benefits our community.
Please consider joining the Current Members by choosing a giving category and level, completing the campaign form and submitting it with your check or money order to St. Jude House. We welcome your support and encourage you to help us raise needed funds for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
